Lee Young, Minister of SMEs and Startups, had a conversation with system semiconductor makers at Qualitas Semiconductor in Bundang on June 16, 2022.
She organized the meeting so that CEOs of fabless businesses and venture capitalists from home and abroad could disucss the future of the Korean semiconductor sector.
Ms. Lee talked about the challenges that the fabless enterprises have faced in the domestic semiconductor ecosystem with the group.
Minister Lee, who convened the meeting, stressed the importance of fabless companies being innovative and creative in order to become a global leader in the semiconductor industry. She also promised the group that she would resolve the three major obstacles of the industry that they had discussed together.
