Han Seongsook, Minister of SMEs and Startups held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Khalid A. Al-Falih, Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia, at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul. The two ministers discussed ways to expand cooperation between the two countries in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups. This meeting was held at the request of Minister Al-Falih, who visited Korea to attend the Korea-Saudi Vision 2030 Committee, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the two ministries. Minister Han stated, “Saudi Arabia is the economic hub of the Middle East and has shown remarkable results in industrial diversification and the promotion of new industries through its Vision 2030 initiative,” and added, “For Korea’s innovative SMEs and startups, Saudi Arabia represents a market full of opportunities.”
