During the 31st APEC SME Ministerial Meeting, held from September 1 to 5 in Jeju, Minister of SMEs and Startups held bilateral meetings with counterparts from APEC economies, including Peru, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Japan. The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation and follow-up measures in the areas of SMEs and startups. Minister Han stated, “The APEC SME Ministerial Meeting served as a meaningful opportunity to share Korea’s policies with the international community and lay the groundwork for practical cooperation with a variety of economies.” She added, “Based on the outcomes of both bilateral and multilateral discussions, we will continue to strongly support our SMEs and startups so that they can achieve even greater success not only in the Asia-Pacific region but on the global stage.”
