In conjunction with the APEC SME Ministerial Meeting, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups hosted the 2025 SME Innovation Network Forum in Jeju over two days, from September 3 to 4. As a major think tank in the area of SME R&D policy, this forum was held under the theme, “Connecting the World through SME Innovation: Global Growth Strategies Based on Deep Tech”, aligning with APEC’s key agenda of Innovative Growth. Minister Han emphasized the importance of the forum, stating, “The SME Innovation Network Forum serves as an important platform for shaping technology innovation strategies and strengthening global networks.” She added, “The Ministry will concentrate its policy capabilities to accelerate technology-based growth and global expansion of our SMEs.”
