Minister of SMEs and Startups Young Lee held a meeting with startups in the field on Mar. 3rd at the Seoul Creative Economy Innovation Center in order to identify trends in the AI field and address business difficulties.

This meeting aims to discuss the environment where startups in the AI field can blossom and thrive in the global market.

Especially, with the recent emergence of Chat GPT, interest in generative AI has increased and the size of the AI market is expected to rapidly expand in the near future.

Minister Lee said, “AI is a key technology for digital transformation, and today’s meeting was a venue to check the technological capability and potentials of Korean AI startups.”
