On July 26, Kwon Chil-seung, Minister of SMEs and Startups, held a signboard unveiling ceremony to celebrate new location of Ministry of SMEs and Startups in Sejong-si and the 4th anniversary of elevation to Ministry of SMEs and Startups from Small and Medium Business Administration. Lim Seo-jeong, Presidential Secretary for Jobs, attended the ceremony and delivered a special message of the President Moon Jae-in. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups was elevated to ministry level from administration one in 2017 at a time when the Moon Jae-in government was inaugurated. The ministry started with the goal of balanced growth among large corporations, SMEs and micro-enterprises, moving away from the large company-oriented economic structure.
